OUCO 20&40 feet Standard Size Semi-Automatic Electric Container Spreader
Product Description
The spreader is a device used for lifting containers and unitized cargo.
The spreader used for containers has a locking mechanism at each corner that attaches the four corners of the container. A spreader can be used on a container crane, a straddle carrier and with any other machinery to lift containers.
The semi-automatic spreader is designed for the handling of 20 ft & 40 ft ISO containers with single or double hook jib cranes, in ports or on vessels. The twistlocks are activated by landing and lifting the spreader from the container by the crane operator. They are also used under mobile harbour cranes, and as spare (back-up) spreaders. No hydraulic or electric systems are needed.
